Insurance and Superbills
Ketamine is not typically covered by insurance. However, there are options for reimbursement:
- Once we approve you for treatment, we will call you to accept your payment and schedule your appointments.
- After you finish your treatment, ask us for a superbill. Superbills are itemized receipts for health care expenses. They describe procedures performed (eg, infusion), related Current Procedural Terminology or CPT codes, and applicable diagnosis codes.
- Next, submit your superbills to your insurance company based on their instructions. Some patients have have been successfully reimbursed for the total cost of their treatment.
To be clear: Since ketamine therapy is not covered by insurance, patients must pay for treatment upfront.
